I am driven by witnessing and photographing elusive moments in the landscape that touch deeply into the human psyche, subconscious, and spiritual life. 

One reason I am drawn to photographing the landscape is that I can capture something that will never be seen again. A confluence of elements, light, wind, and forces into a single moment that then dissipate into the ether forever. I live for these moments. It feels like a special show for an audience of one. I wonder at the fact that little events like this are happening all over the world all the time and there’s no one there to see them. 

In a strange way, it feels like noticing a tiny little thing in someone you love that only you can see.
