Artist Bio
Peter Dawson is an internationally published photographer whose work is characterized by a poetic sense of exploration, anchored in the natural world while opening a window into the sublime unknown.
Peter has a B.A. in Photography from Brooks Institute and his signature style has seen commissions world-wide for brands and publications including Land Rover, Lexus, The New York Times Magazine, EMI Records, The NFL, Subaru, and many others. His projects have been awarded as the “Best of Photography” 15 times on Adobe’s creative network, Behance.
Between commissions, you can usually find him chasing storms with his camera on the backroads of America’s mountains and deserts. Peter is also dedicated to exploring the limits of mind and body through ultra-endurance running where he competes nationally at a high level, and is keenly interested in the parallels between artistic exploration and athletic pursuit.
